As most of you know, Mike Moon went in for surgery March 25 to get the safe matter of his brain tumor removed. They diagnosed him with Stage 2 brain cancer, specifically Oligodendroglioma. We knew that it was going to take some time for recovery, discussed some treatment options, and had a plan.

After his surgery they found a second tumor. This lead to finding out he would need both radiation and chemotherapy instead of just chemotherapy. The oncologist sent a sample of Mike’s tumor to Boston to see if he will be a candidate for the pill form of chemotherapy, if he isn't then he will have to do chemotherapy the other way.

This puts Mike out of work longer than planned. After radiation and chemotherapy, he may have to go through immunotherapy-we won't know that until treatments and MRI's are completed. We are hoping to only have to travel 45 minutes for radiation 2-4-6 weeks, however there is a chance we will have to drive further for his treatment.

We hope this stays low grade, but could turn to a higher grade. We would never normally ask for help, but this is going to be a longer road of recovery than what we expected. Any little bit helps us, and we appreciate all of you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you, Mike and Xanath Moon.
