Rob C Gray Legal Fund
Like me you all probably have favorite stories to tell that include Rob. Maybe a special concert, Halloween on West Lake Road, fireworks in the Oswego Harbor, or maybe a time when he felt he needed to share a tough time with you. He's had plenty of those. One thing we all know, he has always had a big heart.
He is in a particularly tough place right now. On the weekend of Memorial Day he was stopped by a County Sheriff on a minor traffic infraction. When his plates were ran it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant dating back to October of 2024 in Virginia. It was for leaving the scene of an accident that in some way involved someone being hurt. While Rob remembers being confronted in a gas station by a women claiming he hit something, he has no recall of any accident, inspected the vehicle, saw no damage, became suspicious, and left. When returning the rental truck he was using, after a lengthy inspection there was no sign of any damage. The rental company has since rejected any claim that its vehicles had been involved in an accident.
Upon seeing the outstanding warrant, Rob was arrested, cuffed, and has since been incarcerated. First in Cayuga County Jail awaiting extradition to Virginia, and now at the Rockbridge Regional Jail in Lexington Virginia. (He can be emailed via paytell.com)
Unfortunately at this time Rob does not have funds for his legal defense.....And while people who have known Rob may like him or not, I have not known a person who does not feel he has a right to good legal representation.
Funds raised will go towards his legal representation. We need your help to forward this site to those who know Rob and may be interested in helping us in helping him.
Rob and his family thank you..
