Robotics Global Innovation

By God's grace, our FIRST Lego League robotics team was chosen as one of the top 20 (out of 32,000 teams worldwide) to compete at the Global Innovation Award Competition held in San Jose, California from June 19-21. Praise the Lord!

Our team, Operation T.A.C.(Technology and Character), needs your help to (1) pray for us to honor God in everything we do, and (2) fund our trip and prototype costs. FIRST is an organization that is bringing up the next generation of innovators. This year, our team of six students has come together to solve a problem related to water.

Our solution is a portable water testing kit. Many lakes and beaches may seem clean, but really contain bad bacteria like staph, E. Coli, and Bacterial Meningitis. Current solutions are big, expensive, and unusable by the public because testing must occur inside a lab. In addition, they normally take 2-10 days to post results, but by that time it is completely useless because people will have already been exposed to harmful bacteria. Our kit is not only inexpensive at $15 and 14 cents per test, but also fast with testing only taking an hour. It can be used by anyone, anytime, anywhere.

This has been an amazing journey. God's grace has brought us to compete on the highest international level in FIRST with teams from places like Israel and Spain. By supporting us through prayer and/or a donation, you will not only be helping us get to the competition, but also motivating us to do all that God has called us to do while there.  Thank you!
