My daughter in in her senior year of high school and her school robotics team qualified to go the FIRST World Robotics Championships in Houston, TX, taking place from April 29 to April 23, 2023.

The team, the COCONUTS, just recently qualified at the beginning of April to make this once in a lifetime trip to compete against 620+ teams, so most of the team parents, me included, have been caught by surprise with required fees & travel costs. While my daughter is already in Texas with her team, the deadline to settle her balance in its entirety is past due. Parents have been asked to make payment immediately, to reimburse already paid costs back to the team. I also will be joining her on Saturday the 22nd, but I have already paid for my travel arrangements.

My daughter is extremely intelligent, about to graduate with honors in math and science, and has been at the forefront in taking STEM programs to rural areas where it didn't exist before. All in all, your contribution will help the entire robotics team. This is a great cause and goes to support youth in science, technology, engineering and math. There are no greater group of kids to give to, as they all have bright futures ahead of them.

I have included photos to show some costs incurred and information about the event. We do have a remaining balance, not much, from the last trip (two weeks ago to California) bringing the total to over $1000 but I will pay that myself. I just want to clear the bulk of this financial obligation ASAP.
