IN LOVING MEMORY OF RODDY CALONSAG

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest Roddy Calonsag on September 16th at 46 years of age. He is the son of the late Rudolfo Calonsag, and is survived by his mother, Virginia, eldest brother, Leo Calonsag, and sister, Ruvi De Guzman, as well as his beautiful wife of 17 years, Rana, and their three amazing sons, Nico (15), Noah (11), and Mason (6). 

The youngest of three Filipino-American siblings, Roddy's engaging personality and contagious energy were evident at a very young age. He was a natural ‘Master of Ceremonies', drawing people together through his keen sense of humor, comedic timing, and gregarious nature. Roddy was the life of the party and had the special gift of connecting with young and old alike, always sharing his joy, compassion and zest for life. He was a DJ at heart and loved various genres of music and dancing. He also recorded some of his own songs and videos, each one evidence of his in-depth knowledge and appreciation for rap and hip-hop culture. Roddy was full of love and loved to laugh, often leaving friends and family with sidesplitting bellyaches. He had a vibe that others drew upon. When Roddy dressed up, he stylishly reflected his heritage and his own Papa's similar sense for flair. 

The way Roddy touched each of our hearts and our memories will be carried down in the generations through his sons, nieces and nephews.
