Hello all. I am a 49 year old woman. Having raised my children and gone through a divorce I found myself in an abusive relationship. As a result of this relationship and injuries causing loss of job, I ended up homeless for 3 years. By the grace of God I was able to get back up and was blessed last winter to have saved some money and able to purchase a mobile home to live in. I'm doing what I can and so far as repairs as it does need quite a bit of work. Blessed again through my church I have had a group of people look at my roof and it is in very bad condition. The possibility and fear of collapse is very real. I am terrified to lose the roof over my head literally. With volunteers willing to do the physical labor for me I am blessed again however funding is a problem as far as materials go. The estimated cost of the minimal work that needs to be done for materials is $5,000. I am working through churches and organizations attempting to possibly receive donations of materials and or monetary help. I'm reaching out two friends family and community in hopes of being blessed with any assistance that I may find before winter comes as I don't believe that my roof will withstand the coming snowfalls.
