Hello my name is Corey, family members of mine have recently fallen on hard times, on top of being 100% disabled, mother has severe brain trauma due to a falls few years ago and a firefighter and ems member kicking a door that was held shut by her head when she was laying on the ground, coupled with early onset dementia. A father that worked him self to the bone to provide for our family. While I have spent every dime I make to make sure they are taken care of and not sent to a home to be cared for, I unfortunately cannot afford the price tag for a roof. Mid June the roof of their home collapsed in multiple locations, due to rot. Luckily they own the home they live in. My father never worked his life a way to buy a home and finally at 58 yrs of age he was able to. Shortly after his world came tumbling down, with double knee replacement 2 times, double knee revisions, and severe spine damage. To the point he cannot walk unassisted. I work 80 hrs a week and take every side job I can. This is not about me. This is about them. They would give the shirt of their backs for anyone at any time. If I could possibly gather assistance in getting a roof put on the home they fought to buy. It would mean the world to them. I have the ability to install the metal roofing. And I have friends that love my parents as if they were the parents that raised them. They have helped in the fund to put a roof on the house. And will assist with the installation. We are just a bunch of dumb kids from the middle of nowhere where. All materials we need to do the roof, would roughly total $12,000. With assistance I hope to get this roof done for them soon, before they are forced out of the home they killed themselves to buy!
