Extra bit of help

*see update from 4/28/26*

2025 has been a hard year for a lot of people and we are no exception. We fell... but we are trying to get back up and could use a little help from our friends.

The year started out with me stepping up into a management position at the store, however, after several months I realized it was not for me and I had to step down to protect my mental and physical health. With that came the unexpected challenges of my hours being so severely cut that we have been scraping by each month with the bare minimum. Logan started working in May for one of the local movie theaters as seasonal help with hopes it would lead into full-time employment, unfortunately, in August they let him know that his employment was ending and did so on August 30th.

Due to my hours being cut so severely and Logan losing his job, we are behind on our rent for the month of September.

Since I hate asking for any kind of help from friends and family until I have exhausted every option available, I have been reaching out to any charity organization that could be a resource. My employer's "Helping Hands" program denied me, Utah 211 let me know today there is no kind of rental assistance of any kind in our county. I also reached out to our local homeless shelter for resources and guidance.

We just need to get the late rent and late fee paid to save our housing. We already know we will not be able to sign another lease here because of the increasing costs but we don't want to lose what we have to eviction while we search for something more affordable.

The positive to this life challenge is starting on 9/14/25, my hours will be increasing due to taking on another position within the company, however, by the time I get that full almost 40 hour paycheck, it will be beyond when everything is due to the apartment complex.

So I am reaching out for a bit of help. I am willing to pay back anyone that can help, although I know that is probably not necessary, I just feel bad that I keep asking for help.

Any overage of the funds will be applied to any late utilities (Electric, Gas) or October's rent.

If you find it possible to help, Thank you. We appreciate it. If you cannot help, we understand, not everyone can or wants to. If donating on this platform isn't for you, I do have a Venmo or Zelle, if that is preferred.
