Ruby’s veterinary expense
Ruby is a German shepherd/ husky mix . She is only 9 months old. Her mom passed 3 weeks after giving birth to the puppies. I bottle fed the puppies until they were old enough to eat dog food. It was an extremely traumatic situation for our family. We found homes for the puppies, except for two and still have them. Ruby is the girl and Tuesday a boy. They both have separate kennels and are together when going potty outside and playing in the yard. I noticed four days ago that she had gained weight and I immediately became concerned that she could possibly be pregnant. Our other dog is fixed so the only possible way she got pregnant was with her brother. I immediately took her to the vet and explained that my funds were extremely tight, but I needed to do everything to ensure the safety of my Ruby. I called around places trying to find the cheapest pricing for a spay with possible pregnancy and the cheapest one I found is booked a month out she needs the surgery immediately as soon as possible. I applied for care credit and scratch pay and got denied for both. She has an appointment for Monday for the surgery, but I am unsure on how I am going to be able to get her the surgery. The surgery will cause anywhere from $840 to 900 and that is just the basic so it could be even more steep than that. It is something I can’t afford, but it is necessary for the safety of my pup. I know finances are tight for everyone and if you are able to help, I cannot express my gratitude enough. Any amount helps. Her surgery is set for Monday November 10th.
