Ruger and I would like to start off by saying thank you in advance for any support you can offer.

Over the weekend our dog Ruger had started becoming lethargic, not eating, throwing up, and having diarrhea with blood in it. After a useless visit to a local vet, we decided as a family that we were going to take the hour-and-a-half drive and bring him to Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center, and get a second opinion. That was the best thing we could've done for Ruger. He was never gonna make it without the amazing staff and Dr. Stacie Minnier at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center. Ruger has been diagnosed with colitis and thrombocytopenia. He will need to be seen by the vet and stay on his medication for a while. We have managed to pay most of the bills from his hospital stay but we still owe another $2000 to them, and $700 to the local Vet and anywhere between $1,500-$2,000 for his continuing care, blood work and meds for the next few months. My husband and I are on social security disability , I have multiple sclerosis and my husband had cancer. we don't have any extra for these situations. So as embarrassing as it is I am sucking up my pride and asking for your help. Any little bit will help . Also any money not used for Ruger will be donated to the pet emergency fund that helps to pay for animals in need. Thank you, Chyrisse and David
