We hope you take a moment to give to this fund that goes directly to safety, stability, and comfort as Sabel faces life with astrocytoma, a cancerous and incurable brain tumor. We're already 25% of the way up this $8,000 mountain, a goal set to ensure rent is paid, gas is in the car for medical appointments, bills don't become obstacles, and food remains abundant.

In May of 2025, Sabel had a seizure resulting in emergency surgery to remove a brain tumor. Afterward, Sabel had no choice but to immediately return to work to pay bills and rent despite physical, emotional, and mental effects of both an invasive surgery and a new cancer diagnosis.

Recent months have brought increased symptoms, many medical appointments, side-effects from medications and chemotherapy, as well as the effects of serious co-morbidities, all of which has affected Sabel’s ability to maintain regular work hours. The financial loss has left our friend in need of our support, given that work hours are currently unpredictable.
