Please Help Us Help Sabrina: A Path to Lasting Hope and Healing. 

They said it takes a village to raise a child…and we need your help!

After six long years and eight different mental health treatment facilities, we’ve come to a heartbreaking realization: the limited resources available to adoptive families through community resources, state and insurance-supported programs which charge $45,000+/month for treatment, are simply not enough to help many adopted children (and families) truly heal, to include Sabrina. 

Sabrina has Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), among other diagnoses, which is a complex condition that stems from early childhood trauma and severely impacts her ability to trust, connect, and form healthy relationships.

Despite countless efforts from our family and medical professionals, nothing has brought the deep, lasting healing she so desperately needs and she cannot return home at this time, for the safety and protection of the other children in our home.

With over 13 stateside treatment center denials into their programs over the last week, we have been forced to seek help outside of the United States. This is why we’re raising funds to enroll her in a fully immersive private, Christian therapeutic program specifically designed for children with RAD. This program offers the consistency, structure, and specialized support necessary for long-term healing in a safe, faith-centered environment. 

The program is a minimum two-year commitment and is located outside the U.S. It is not currently supported by her 2 medical insurance policies, so it will be 100% out of pocket.

Funds raised will go toward:

  • $3500 Academy Enrollment Fee

•  $3950 Monthly tuition (a portion of her tuition will be paid through her adoption subsidy & hopefully additional grants; $94,800+ Estimated Total for 24 Months of treatment)

  •  $1450 Student Visa, Passport Renewal and legal documentation

  •  $4250 estimated, Transport Airfare and travel expenses 

•  $2500+, medical care as needed- prescription glasses replacement, if needed etc
