My Name is Alexander Ama. I spent years in contact with the people of Niger-Delta of Nigeria understanding how they survive and fend for their families in the midst of their heavily crude oil polluted environment. I eventually came to the conclusion that they live far below a standard expected of the lowest of humans. Worst of it is the unavailability of safe drinking water for women and children of the various communities as all the water available in their environment have been contaminated/polluted as a result of ongoing oil drilling and spillage. Neonatal and maternal death has become a common trend in every home. This is the very reason for this crowdfunding campaign to enable the provision of safe drinking water for the affected communities.

We intend to deploy in the first Intervention an effluent and water treatment plant in our pilot community using advanced ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis water treatment technology to deliver the project goal to the people.

We have also developed a blockchain asset for the people to empower the unbanked amongst them access funds for alternative trade/business as their main source of livelihood which is fishing have been virtually destroyed by the continous oil spillage and pollution activities. This blockchain asset and it's major proceeds shall be used continously to deploy more treatment plants to more needy communities instead of repeated crowdfunding campaign.

The funds received from this campaign shall be ultimately used as follows:

1. Procure a pollution free location and conduct geophysical survey of suitable and exploitable underground acquifer.

2. Develop 4 unit boreholes, and storage facility of 5000 gallons per day(GPD).

3. Deploy 4000GPD capacity commercial water treatment plant with a water testing laboratory (physical, chemical, toxicology and bacteriolical analytical units).

4. Complete and launch the blockchain asset for the facility sustenance and economic empowerment of the people.

5. Procure 15000Litre capacity stainless steel mobile water delivery trucks to supply homes in the locality. 

6. Phase II: Erection of supply overhead tanks complete with drinking water reticulation to homes.
