Hi, I’m Annola.

Right now, I am the caretaker of 10 "unwanted" horses. These are the animals society gave up on, but I saw their potential. I’ve personally taken them in to launch Lucky One’s Sanctuary, a place where rescued horses and trauma survivors can find a second chance together.

The Vision 

Lucky One’s isn't just a rescue; it’s a bridge to healing. My goal is to rehabilitate these 10 horses so they can eventually serve as partners in Equine-Assisted Therapy. Horses have a unique way of helping trauma victims regulate and heal, and I want to provide a safe space for that transformation to happen.

Why We Need You 

I have been self-funding the care for these 10 horses, but to get this sanctuary off the ground and ensure their safety, I need to upgrade our infrastructure. Your donations will go directly toward:

• Safe Fencing: Expanding our turnout so the herd can move freely and safely.
• Weather Shelters: Building run-in sheds to protect the horses from the elements.
• Medical Care: Essential vet care, dental work, and farrier visits for the "Lucky Ones" currently on-site.
