Sam Morgan
Hi Friends,
As some of you probably know. Sam and Michelle Morgan are going through a trying life experience. Earlier this year, Sam was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. He has been going through chemotherapy treatments in Springfield. Recently, his surgeon advised there was nothing more that he could do to help Sam, even though the tumor was shrinking.
With guidance from a family member, Michelle contacted a surgeon in Chicago and was able to get Sam a consultation with their team. The surgeon has performed many more of the needed surgery and has more advanced equipment. The new team feels they can help Sam.
Sam and Michelle have temporarily relocated to Chicago and found a place close to the hospital so Sam can continue his chemotherapy. They are looking at potentially four to five months for chemotherapy, surgery, and recovery before they can return to Ava, MO.
We are looking for donations to help offset daily hotel and living expenses while in Chicago. Any help would be greatly appreciated to get Sam home watching the Chiefs in their next Super Bowl appearance.
