while I am so proud of us for raising and meeting up the initial goal. Sarah just learned today that her mortgage company denied her request to freeze the payments. She will need a bit more help to get her family through this. Please help with whatever you can and share the link, so others can help too

Hello Friends!

As you all know our friend Sarah Jurgens has had one hell of a year! After an emergency open heart surgery last November, Sarah went through an extensive and grueling recovery and cardiac rehab. She was unable to work for almost four months. The medical bills, loan against her pension (to pay for the surgery), and inability to work left her family in dire financial situation. She felt like "was just coming up for air" when last week she learned she needs ANOTHER urgent surgery. The ring they placed around her mitral valve has come undone, it's loose and "flapping" into her atria with every heartbeat. If I had an emoji option, I'd insert the screaming one HERE!

Sarah was admitted today at Christ Medical Center and is waiting for a surgery date and time within the next two days. She will NEED and appreciate all the help and support she is offered. The goal $ amount set here would help her cover the mortgage and partial monthly bills for about three months. With winter and the Holiday season coming, there would be medical bills also. Sarah is worried about her full recovery - (this time she knows how painful it will be) - as it turns out broken ribs hurt more than broken hearts :( She is worried about her kids and how they will handle this for two years in a row, and she is contemplating life ahead as she won't be able to work  for a bit and provide for them while she recovers. 

Please, please find it in Your Hearts to help and support Sarah with whatever amount you can. I know she would appreciate all the donations, prayers, calls/texts/messages, and visits. So, lets help Sarah by lifting some of the burden of her shoulders so she can focus on getting better and having a complete and speedy recovery.
