Savannah has always been the kind of student who dreams beyond the walls of a classroom. She works incredibly hard, maintains great grades, and has a passion for learning about people, history, and the world around her. One of her biggest dreams is to become an attorney one day. Someone who can help others, speak up for people who need a voice (especially children), and make a difference in the lives of others.

She has been given the amazing opportunity to travel to Ireland in January as an exchange student and complete the remainder of her freshman year of high school there. For Savannah, this is about so much more than travel. It’s an opportunity to fully immerse herself in another culture, experience a different way of life, build independence, and develop the confidence and communication skills that are so important in the legal field. Learning to adapt to new environments, understand different perspectives, and connect with people from all walks of life would be an experience that could shape both her future career and who she becomes as a person.

As a parent, nothing means more to me than seeing my children work hard toward their futures. This season of life has been bittersweet, as her older brother is also preparing to leave for college in Daytona, and I am doing everything I can to support both of their dreams and opportunities for the future.
