Save Mamdouh Family Gaza
My name is Nina Gorman a psychotherapist and psychology teacher from Philadelphia, PA USA, a supporter of Palestinian and human rights. I am doing this campaign to assist my friends Mamdouh Al-Najjar (41) his wife Nasreen Al-Najjar (43) and their three children Salman (11), Mustafa (10) and Sila (8) to survive in Gaza.
I came to know Mamdouh in meta social media at the beginning of the war two years ago when I was in touch with Palestinian artists there. We have had many conversations and he is known by many of my friends there as a man of high integrity. The family suffers from many illnesses for which it is difficult to obtain the needed medications due to the blockade of medications which are therefore very expensive. Mamdouh suffers from an inflamed gall bladder and has been waiting for the surgery to become available for about a year now and his son Salman suffers from chronic bone disorder while his daughter Sila has the genetic disorder of Thallassemia, with all needing medications for pain as well as antibiotics and other medications.
Mamdouh and Nasreen often have to choose between food for the family and medications and they have great difficulty getting fresh fruit and vegetables to stay healthy leading them to be malnourished and with symptoms of their illnesses more prone to flaring.
They have lost their home in bombing like many in Gaza and with it many hopes and dreams. They have been displaced many times running from bombs and losing many possessions. The children are traumatized by the war and now fear their illnesses and starvation with the blockade of most food and the banning of humanitarian organizations with the prices often out of reach. Though Mamdouh is sick, he has to travel to get heavy water at risk of his health. I urge you to find it in your heart and soul to decrease the profound suffering of this family by donating what you can to help them.
All donations will be transferred from my secure USA bank account to the secure Paypal of Mamdouh Al-Najjar
Here is Mamdouh in his own words:
I am a father exhausted by the war in Gaza, standing helpless today in the face of my children's illnesses. My little girl, Sila, suffers from Thalassemia and requires continuous medical care, while my son, Salman, is battling severe bone infections. At the same time, I am enduring severe gallbladder pain that leaves me unable to work or provide for them. We have lost so much in this war, and today we appeal to your humanity to save my family and help cover our medical expenses. Any donation, or even just sharing this appeal, is a lifeline for us.
