I was hit with some devastating news October 2025 involving my consulting company that manages corporate Medical/RX Insurance Plans. A Transplant Claim from July 2023 on a Cystic Fibrosis covered dependent on one of my longtime clients had been mishandled by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. This claim over the last 2 years has been paid, revised, appeal declined twice and them paid another way again. So, the contracts for protections we had in place no longer covered this claim revised paid date of February 2025 due to the date of service being back in July 2023. My client ended up suing my company that existed back in July 2023, but was acquired in December 2023. Since I was the 100% owner of the company in July 2023 and my Errors & Omission Insurance was no longer effective. I am the scapegoat. To keep the lawsuit from going public and trying to keep my current job. I sold 2 thriving other businesses and 2 pieces of properties totaling $820,000 to pay towards the lawsuit nearing $990,000. My lawyer negotiated this settlement along with the ability to keep my job so I could pay the rest off. We thought things we okay, but they went against their word. Now, I am destitute!!!! I lost my nice job and income from these other businesses. We have three kids in college and other big financial demands. My precious wife is working her three different companies and I am in the throes of trying to find another job. We are desperate to stay in our house so our last child can graduate from his current high school where he is a prominent golfer for their golf team. We have very good equity in our house but my credit score has been hit and it will take another 2 to 3 months to repair so I can get a fair loan/refinance on our Adjustable Rate Mortgage. Any one that donates a significant sum. I will personally pay them back their funding amount PLUS 15% once we sell the house. We are putting it on the market in about 6 weeks. But our goal is to stay in it till May 2027. The $50,000 will help us pay our bills and our mortgage while I rebound and get a main job and a part-time job to get back on our feet. I will be glad to share where the donated money is spent and track who gets paid whether we sell in two months or 15 months. We have 5 kids and all the expenses that surround this situation. We have helped a lot of people out over the years. Now, we just need a little help to get by with being so destitute. We appreciate any help!
