Hello! My name is Theresa Spencer. I am desperately trying to raise what I can, (of what I am unable to come up with, myself!), toward a property tax bill which can NOT wait! If I can not pay this bill, they are prepared to auction my home, WEEKS from now! I am a 54 yr. old disabled woman, living on a monthly check of less than $1,,000. (I am doing all that I can do to ensure approximately $1,000 of the funds needed, from myself, . . . But I simply have NO ability to come up with the balance! 

     I am a very private person (so it stands to reason that I "don't DO Facebook")! Furthermore, I probably shouldn't be, but I AM, totally embarrassed to have to ask publicly for help! I MUST do this, though, as I am not the only one who will become HOMELESS, if I cannot pay this bill, . . . My 5 yr. old granddaughter will, as well! (This is the ONLY home she has ever known! We don't have much to BEGIN with, but "home", at least, has ALWAYS been a "constant" for her, . . . A source of security and stability!) 

     Unfortunately, I find myself having to ask total strangers, YOU, for help, seeing that I AM such a private person. I know you don't "know" me, but if you have any doubts, my problem is a matter of public record, and you may certainly look into it, if you felt the need! 

     All I can say, at THIS point, is PLEASE help me to save our home, with even the smallest of donations! (I will be busy getting that $1,000 I spoke of!) ANY and EVERY donation, will be MOST APPRECIATED, and WILL help my cause! 

(Incidentally, . . . I have taken action, to ensure that this is NEVER a problem in the future, (as I qualify to have the majority of my tax bill taken care of under the Homestead Act. However, the CURRENT tax bill must be paid IN FULL, and A.S.A.P., so they do not auction our home! There are no abatements available to me, and in case you are wondering, . . . I do not, and/or can not qualify for any kind of loan to deal with this problem.) PLEASE find my cause a worthy one to help out with! We can NOT do this alone! Thank you, so much, for any and every contribution you can manage! This family will never forget your kindness! (But PLEASE, if you plan to help, PLEASE HURRY! City Hall doesn't give extensions!)
