Cantantes In Cordibus, Inc. is a non profit corporation which supports the sacred music which accompanies the ancient liturgy that is celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Jersey City, NJ.     Translated this means, "singing from the heart" and is a phrase of St. Pauls' found in  Collossians, Chapter 3. This is a volunteer choir that is dedicated to the entire patrimony of sacred music in the West from Gregorian Chant, through Renaissance Polyphony, the orchestral Masses of the Classical Composers  through contemporary composers such as Laridsen.  Although the parish is small and with limited financial means, the choir produces an excellent sound for all liturgies which include all Sundays and solemnities throughout the year.  The funds are needed to pay for the director and organist, Simone Ferrerasi, and also for guest vocalists and instrumentalists.
