Aidan is the sweetest boy and doesn't deserve The pain he's in or what he's going through. After being lethargic, seemingly barely able to walk, and refusing food Monday night, we went to the vet Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, they couldn't pinpoint the problem and weren't equipped to give him the care he needs.

Teary-eyed, Dr. Hibbs referred us to UT, and off we went. He's been there since Tuesday evening and due to the fluid in his abdominal cavity and inflammation, they're unable to make a primary diagnosis with labs, X-rays, nor ultrasound. They're keeping him stable with fluids, pain meds, and antibiotics just in case.

His hope for an answer is a CT scan with the surgical team standing by for immediate assessment and in case he requires surgery immediately. The most likely diagnoses are currently cancer, pancreatitis, or something burst/perforated.

His current vet costs are $4,000 and my dad has so generously offered to help me front his growing bill. His bill could be anywhere from 6-20k, dependent on surgical needs. This doesn't include potential costs associated with after care.
