Securing a Final Promise

My name is Kodie, and I am reaching out for help to honor a final, beautiful promise made by my late boyfriend, Tommy.

Tommy was the love of my life, a man whose kindness knew no bounds. Before he passed away unexpectedly, his greatest wish was to ensure I would always have a safe and secure place to call home. He left me his property with the intention that I would never have to worry about a roof over my head.

However, inheriting a home comes with a silent, heavy burden: the annual property taxes. While Georgia does not have an inheritance tax, these local property taxes are a significant, ongoing financial obligation that I am struggling to meet on my own. I am facing the very real possibility of a tax lien and potentially losing the home he worked so hard to leave me.

This home is more than just a building; it's a testament to his love and the only physical connection I have left to the future we were meant to share.
