At just 26 years old, I live with epilepsy. Because of that, my service dog Cooper is not just a pet — he is my safety, my independence, and my constant companion.

Right now, Cooper is fighting for his life.

He was recently diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, a life-threatening condition that attacks his adrenal glands. Without immediate treatment, this disease can take his life. With proper treatment and ongoing medication, the veterinarian told us he can live a normal, happy life.

But the treatment must start right away, and the cost is overwhelming.

I’m trying to raise $5,000 to cover Cooper’s life-saving treatment, medications, and specialized veterinary care.

Cooper is only 5 years old. He has so much life ahead of him. He travels everywhere with me, watches over me, and helps keep me safe when my epilepsy puts me at risk. He isn’t just my service dog — he is my lifeline.

Before Cooper, I lost two beloved dogs at ages 13 and 15 — dogs who were with me long before my epilepsy diagnosis. Losing Cooper now, so young, while knowing there is treatment that could save him, would be absolutely heartbreaking.

Cooper is the kindest, gentlest soul. He is loved not only by me, but by my entire family — my mom, my brother, my sister, and even our five cats who adore him.

Watching him suffer while knowing treatment exists is one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. But I still have hope — hope that kind people will help give Cooper the chance to live the full life he deserves.
