Schylar's Medical Journey

On 8/28/23 Schylar was rushed to the ER due to experiencing excruciating abdominal & pelvic pain. She was then diagnosed with a ruptured ovarian cyst & had fluid remaining within her ovaries. On 9/6/23 she went to the walk in clinic as she wasn't gaining relief & was sent home with pain meds & told she would get better soon. On the evening of 9/6/23 her pain meds caused her to black out while trying to use the bathroom & hit her head resulting in a concussion. Due to stressing financially she was adamant she was going back to work on 9/7/23. On 9/7/23 she called me around 1pm & asked me to leave work & drive her home as she wasn't feeling well & informed me that she was actively on her way to pick me up. When I met her outside of my work I asked her to move to the passenger side as I felt she was in no shape to drive. She was pale & clammy. She walked to the passenger side & before she could open the door she began vomiting bile & then fell to the ground while continuing to dry heave, to week to get up. She was then rushed to the ER. Once at the ER she was screaming in pain, eyes would roll back, she was begging for help, scared she was dying. She couldn't sit, stand, or lay, every position was painful. She threw up every 5 minutes to the point that she was throwing up what looked to be suds. Tests were ran & she was admitted with a diagnosis of what they guessed to be Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. She still had fluid as well in her ovary from the ruptured cyst that had spread to her girl area & to her rectum & was turning Sepsis. They gave her IV bags of doxycycline & pain meds. Due to her appearing to be 90% better she was sent home on 9/8/23 with 2 oral antibiotics & more pain meds. She slept good that night. On the morning of 9/9/23 she woke me up screaming in pain, continuously vomiting, & week. She was again rushed to the ER where she was admitted. All scans/imaging, bloodwork, organs, & what have you have come back normal & they are baffled as to why she is still suffering. This morning 9/10/23, they have decided to open her abdomen up to further investigate. With all of this going on she has been out of work for over 2 weeks now & cannot afford her car payment, insurance, & other bills due. She has an apartment lined up to move into closer to the cities on 10/01/23 that she cannot get out of & now has no funds for the first/last months rent, Deposit, & associated moving costs. She will still be held liable for the apartment as she already signed the lease with the promise to pay what is owed at move in & without funds she won't be able to keep her leased car. Every bit helps and is appreciated at this time.
