Hello, my name is Chris and I am setting this up to allow myself to finally leave the family home and help go out into the world, with my partner by my side.

While I do live comfortably with my parent as does my partner with theirs, the job market has been less than ideal to provide means for me to save up. Between medical issues making some jobs difficult but not enough for disability (not to mention the sheer amount of...trial and error for that to go through), to the lack of having a driver's license — it means the market for jobs is small as a result.

This, in turn, has me asking strangers, in the greater sphere, for aid.

This is a wish but also a want, a small blip on the greater whole, to see if getting aid is possible.

We want to find a place to rent for a while, for a year or more, spread our wings and fly with the aid of any that would help along the way. The funds would be for rent, deposits, needs, etc and etc. Our plan is to go and settle where there is a better job market that is thriving, as right now we are living in situations that make getting a job very difficult, so relocation can open new opportunities.

We both need to relocate to an area where there are available jobs nearer, as the commute isn't really doable living in such a remote, rural location, in the case of my partner, and unfortunately the transit systems do not inspire much confidence.

What we want is the ability to be self sustaining and productive, and we're stuck in dead end towns and/or situations where there are no real opportunities for betterment and even retail jobs are few and far between with far too many people on waiting lists for a tiny pool of possible jobs.

The fundraising goal will be relatively high, given the cost of living is difficult and even if one does find a job, we are all struggling out here in one way or another.

If this works out, we could do little updates about whats going on towards these goals in a way that continues to protect our privacy without sharing exacting details.
