Well...

I guess I'm here. And it isn't where I wanted to be, and so many parts of me feel not quite right for making the ask... But here we go.

I've hit a snag and I'm running uphill in roller skates, folks.

I paid off medical bills with a credit card so I wouldn't wreck my credit I assumed it would be okay. It wasn't

I determined it was time to leave my (hopefully soon to be) ex husband in April of 2019. He had expressed that the cause of the medical bills was attention seeking behavior, and found favor with someone else... Though he had checked out years before.

This process, COVID, and then an entire career change put me in a really rough spot, and while I have been swatting away at lingering medical bills, divorce costs, vehicle maintenance, personal medical, veterinary and living expenses, I just can't seem to get out from under it all. Everything I pay ends up just covering interest and keeping me at square one.

Now my transmission in my truck has gone out on 4/7, I ended up in the hospital with a sprained back on 4/8,and it's the last straw. This mountain is too big, I can't get over it or out from under it, and I don't know what to do, or if this is even right.

While I have been relatively stable, I'm also one paycheck away from financial ruin at any given time, even closer thanks to this transmission, and am stressed to the max trying to get out from under this boulder.

Any help that anyone is willing to offer is greatly appreciated.
