Jaela is heading to Indiana this summer to compete at the International Thespian Festival! 🎭

After an incredible showing at the Southern Arizona Festival of Thespians (SAFT), Jaela earned five Superior rankings, qualifying her for Nationals. She received Superior honors in:

• Musical Theatre Solo

• Musical Theatre Duet

• Musical Theatre Solo Dance

• Musical Theatre Group Performance

• Acting Ensemble

Jaela has dedicated herself fully to her craft. This year alone, she performed as Molly in Salpointe's production of Peter and the Starcatcher, Lorraine in Arts Express Theatre's production of All Shook Up, and Lucy in Salpointe's production of Bright Star. She was also recently cast as Tracy in Arts Express Theatre's production of Hairspray, opening April 2027.

Beyond the stage, Jaela is an AP/Honors student and an active leader in her school community. She is a member of Salpointe Ambassadors, the National Spanish Honor Society, and serves as an executive member of Theatre Leadership. She also trains at Kids Unlimited in dance, vocal ensemble, and performance—and gives back as a mentor, teaching the Prelude Vocal Ensemble class.

Theatre is Jaela’s passion, and her hard work, talent, and dedication continue to shine. This opportunity to perform on a national stage is a huge step in her journey.
