Hi everyone!

Dan and I recently became the chair and vice-chair of the Adams County Young Dems, which we want to build into a forum for Democrats ages 18-35 to talk about politics in an informative way that inspires action (and is also fun!) We have a great elected leadership team we're collaborating with, but we have a lot of work ahead to create a successful organization.

We were both honored to be chosen by the Colorado Young Democrats to serve as delegates at the national conference in Dallas this August. This 3-day event will be packed with trainings as well as the chance to meet with young Dems from around the country. We're looking forward to learning about best practices for running a successful chapter, tactics to gain the millenial vote, and bringing back this knowledge to help Adams County Democratic candidates achieve victory.

Now, more than ever, we need a better conversation about politics and issues in this country. America should be a place where there is opportunity and equal rights for everyone. And this belief begins at the local level with passionate and inspired individuals who want to make a difference where they live, work, and play.

We will be using the money to pay for our hotel in Dallas. I hope you can make this investment to help  the next generation of Democrats! Any amount, $5, 10 or $15 would really help!

(Also, check out our website at www.adamscountyyoungdems.com).

Thanks,

Julia and Dan
