SFC Ronnie Scott Jr.

Hello Everyone,

I am Aimee Rabb. Ronnie and I have been very close friends for 20 years. As you all have heard by now, we lost Ronnie on Sunday 7/7/19. He went peacefully his home in Walker, La. He leaves behind his son, Peyton, 7 y/o. He has sole custody of Peyton and was an amazing father. He also left behind his other love, his dog Lima. For those who knew him, knew he lived his daily life for those 2. He is also survived by his family.

Ronnie Scott Jr's military service includes twelve years of service with combat deployments to Bosnia and Iraq as a Tank crew member in the Army. His highest rank attained was Sergeant First Class and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, four Army Achievement Medals, three Non-Commissioned Officer Development Ribbons, three Army Good Conduct Medals, both Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, Armed Forces Service Medal, two Overseas Service Ribbons and the NATO Medal. He was very proud to have served with Charly Company of the Elite 1/37 Armor Battalion of the First Brigade, First Armored Division, also known as the Bandits. He was renowned as one of the best Tank Commanders in the Division.

He loved his job and his country. He is the definition of a Warrior.

The family asked to put this together to help cover the funeral cost. The VA is only giving them $2k towards it. His family is having a full military funeral for our Soldier. All remaining donations will go to his son, Peyton.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all.
