I have a dear friend who has lived through so much trauma, tragedy and hurt. After 11 years of marriage her husband up and left her to become a drug dealer. Please understand they were Sunday school teachers , good people , not drug dealers or users. She thought he was her forever after her prior marriage of abuse for 11 years she thought she found a man who would liove her as much as she loved him. He left after several months of pulling away, she needed him more than ever. They had dropped the youngest off at college and he pulled away from her. Shortly after he left she found herself being questioned by local authorities about burglaries in her neighborhood that apparently her husband had commuted. She also had to live with him murdering his best friend , also a dear friend of hers. This impacted her barber shop business, everyone treated her like she had done something wrong and she hadn’t. She lost so much business in her small town because of him. He broke her heart and her business . She tried to keep up on her mortgage and car payment all on her own but eventually had to sell the house. She should have made enough money for a fresh start but a week before closing found out that there was a lien on her mortgage for her exhusbands gambling debts. She ended up making 78$ after the sale. She had to move home to her parents. No fresh start and just humiliation in her small town. Then came Covid and she lost her business because she couldn’t keep up with the rent for her shop while business was closed down. So she sank lower and lower into a really deep depression. Then she decided to make house xallls for her clients and this worked because there was no overhead . Just when she was feeling hopeful again she hit a hill from the IRS for &9000 , and it was for her r husbands gambling winnings for $26,000 which she never saw or knew about. This just made the depression worse. Three months after that she was picked up by a police officer for a warrant that was issued for a in paid bill , well it was not her bill but her ex husbands ear nose a throat dr bill. No matter what she does he keeps creeping back into her life and causing so much damage , she doesn’t think she will ever smile

again or have any hope of being independent. She was the major bread winner when they were married. She worked herself 7 days a week to buy her family a home and get the kids off to college only to be lied to by her husband and then left to rot. She recently found out both of her parents are dying , her dad of cancer and mom of Parkinson’s. She also lost her baby brother a few years ago and he was her best friend. She doesn’t want to live anymore , and I don’t know how to help her. She recently had to quit working because her car is beyond repair and she had no savings account because of the endless hardships. She is an amazing mom , friend , daughter and person. She use to smile and I miss her smile. She would do anything for anyone to the point of neglecting herself . I want to get her a reliable used vehicle so she can work again and have a small bit of independence to work and buy groceries and help her parents. She worked on her own vehicle for years because she couldn’t afford a mechanic. She is very thrifty , humble and selfless. Please help me remind this woman that life is worth living and that she will overcome these many hardships. Thank you for taking the time to read this . Please restore her faith in life and humanity.
