Hi, my name is Jesse. My fiancé is Brittany. Our little boy is Kale. Kale is a 3 year old bundle of happiness. We've recently traveled from Arkansas to California hoping to find a place to live here. When we moved here, we had money to put towards a security deposit and rent, but no one would accept us into their apartment because of not having any established credit. We also had trouble with getting accepted into a place because we had lack of a job. We planned on putting a higher security deposit along with the rent, but still no one would accept us because they needed to be secured with a source of income. We planned to get jobs, but we needed a physical address. We tried for over a month to get into a place, but we started to run low on funds. We thought that we'd have a place or a job by now, but the cost of shelter is higher than we expected, so it has been tearing through our funds too quickly to support us. We now are in a very tough position. We have no where to go, no money, no vehicle, and no way to pay for shelter and food. We're scared. Our little boy needs a place to lay his head and a safe place to sleep at night. He cannot roam the streets, as it could end up getting him hurt, or worse. Please Help Us Get a place to stay. We only need this little boost of support until we are employed. We are both waiting on our applications to be reviewed by the many jobs we've applied for. Once we are able to start working, we know we can make it: but for right now, we have no funds to pay for shelter. We need to be able to pay for shelter and food at least until we can get our first paycheck, but getting that first paycheck will take some time, and we're out of time. We need shelter and food, because lord knows that our little boy doesn't deserve to be in this position because of our Mistake. Please, if you don't help us, please think about helping our son, because that's who you'll ultimately be helping with this campaign; our 3 year old little boy.
