Help Me Ship Relief Barrels to Jamaica — Shipping Costs Are Overwhelming!

Hi and thank you for taking the time to read this. I was able to put together some funds to buy food, toiletries, batteries, clothing, and essential supplies for my family, friends, and neighbors in Jamaica due to Hurricane Melissa. I was able to gather everything needed!

However, I’ve now learned that the shipping costs to send these barrels to Jamaica are extremely high — in fact, the shipping alone costs more than all the supplies combined. From freight charges, handling fees, customs, and delivery costs, the total is far more than I expected. I would like to send the barrels through aircraft so it can reach there quicker but depending on how much I raise, I will have the second option with shipping on a cargo ship which will unfortunately take 3/4 weeks.

I’m creating this fundraiser ONLY to cover the cost of shipping the barrels safely to Jamaica so they can actually reach my people who need them. Anything you can give will help make sure these supplies get delivered as soon as possible.
