Hi my name is Vanessa, I'm married to a wonderful man and we have 4 beautiful kids who love to play with their dad. 

One day, a couple weeks before Christmas, my husband became sick. It started off as what we thought was the flu so we thought nothing of it, it should pass within 2 weeks just in time for Christmas. Four weeks or so later he was still sick. The cough, body aches and fever never left and never got any better. (With my husband sick and barely able to leave the bed, I had to pull Christmas together on my own.)

Also with him in and out of the hospital, his job let him go. Just like that, over a text message while he was in the hospital bed! I couldn't believe they could do this but I told him not to worry and focus on his health for now. He had numerous test done but they all came back clear so he was sent home.. as sick and miserable as he was when he went it.

My husband has always been a hard worker and was our main source of income so losing his job hit us hard and we fell behind on rent.

In January 2019 he developed red spots on his legs which now almost covers his whole body the "rash" is very itchy and irritating he tells me. With this rash he also developed extreme sensitivity to pain.. he can hardly play with our boys and our now 1 year old daughter. Which breaks his heart.. he loves playing with his kids.

His pain is so bad that it brings him to tears. It doesn't stop there.. with everything already going on, he woke up one day saying his eye hurt. He thought nothing of it and decided to take a nap to sleep it off. He was awakened by an extreme pain in his eye.. I rushed him to the doctor and he was told he has uveitis and could have lost his sight if he hadn't come in. More test were ran, including an eye fluid test. Again, all tests are clear.

He's seen multiple doctors, different specialists and still has not been diagnosed.

He was put on an oral steroid which was supposed to help but all it did was help the eye issue and cough.

Every single day he has to deal with chronic pain, a rash that wont go away, and fighting his fatigue.

We're just waiting for someone to help or at least to diagnose him.

I do work but its not enough to cover rent in Colorado plus all our bills and food for a family of 6. We were a team, he worked and I worked,  our bills were always paid.

My husband is unable to work, he barely leaves the house except to see doctors, he needs to focus on getting better.. thats all I want. I want my bestfriend back and I don't want him to be in pain anymore, but until then I ask for help.

This was my last resort, I don't want to cause him any more stress than he already has and I don't want to lose our home. Our kids love it here and it's near their school which makes it easier for me during the busy morning commute.

The doctors have no clue whats going on and keep referring him to someone new.

The way things are looking.. we might lose our place which breaks my heart, we have no where to go. Who would take in a family of 6? 

I'm asking for help from anyone who can help out, all funds will go to our rent, medical bills, and any medications he may need.

I've been late on rent for the passed couple months. It would be a such a relief to all of us if anyone could help this family of 6. Then we could focus on his health without the extra worry. 

I pray every day that my husband gets some real help and that we don't lose him.
