Silvia’s Medical Recovery: Stopping Somatic Collapse
The Need for Sanctuary
For too long, I have lived in a state of high-frequency stress. My body is now in Somatic Collapse—the physical breaking point where the nervous system can no longer sustain the "static" of survival mode. To heal, I need more than just a place to stay; I need a Medical Sanctuary.
The Path to Stabilization
I have mapped out a specific, four-part plan to arrest this collapse and move toward restoration. My goal of $7,500 is the exact cost of securing safety and starting the healing process.
1. Secure Medical Sanctuary (Housing) — $4,200
The foundation of my recovery is a quiet, private 1-bedroom or studio in the Cornelius/Forest Grove area. This covers the first month’s rent ($1,800), the security deposit ($1,800), and utility connections ($600) to ensure a stable, private environment.
2. Physical Health & Somatic Recovery — $1,500
To address the physical damage of long-term stress, I am dedicated to a protocol of trauma-informed bodywork and nutritional restoration. This includes holistic consultations to lower cortisol levels and anti-inflammatory support to help my body remember how to rest.
3. The Silvia Office Setup — $1,200
I am an advocate and a worker, but I cannot continue if my environment causes further strain. This fund builds an ergonomic workspace ($500) and ensures my digital and physical privacy ($400). It also includes $300 for Snake Plants—air-purifying greenery to signal that this office is a place of life, not just survival.
4. Emergency Transition Buffer — $600
This ensures that after GoFundMe fees and the "Static" of processing costs, the full $6,900 needed for my survival and recovery remains intact.
Your Support
Stopping a somatic collapse requires a deliberate shift into safety. By contributing, you are helping me build the walls of this sanctuary and providing the air my body needs to breathe again. Thank you for being part of my recovery.
