A severe wind storm in Rochester, NY caused power failure across our region forcing many to use generators and space heaters while temperatures plunged and power was taking several days to be restored. While at a friends for the night, my best friend Heather was called in the middle of the night to learn that  her grandmother and brother who she was temporarily living with had died in a fire that consumed their home. Heather needs emergency support to get grief counselling, secure long-term housing for herself and her 2 dogs, and to replace daily care needs and clothing. Please give generously to help Heather attempt to put her life back together and heal from this tragedy. She lost everything except the few possessions with her Saturday night, March 11th.
