I'm a single father of three kids, and right now we're facing eviction from our home. I lost my job after using bereavement days to attend my grandmother's funeral, and since then, it's been a struggle to find new work. I've applied for several assistance programs, but my applications are still pending and I haven't received any responses. 

Now, we're down to just three days before a writ of eviction will be filed if I can't pay the rent. I'm doing everything I can to keep a roof over our heads, but time is running out and I have nowhere else for my kids and me to go.
