I'm a single mom with 3 kids still at home. Daughter 17 and twins 9. I left my husband on August 9, 2022. We were able to stay with a friend, where we lived for 4 month.  Just after Thanksgiving I found a small single wide trailer . It's very small but seemed livable.  Shortly after moving in we noticed a big rat was living behind the fridge.  We had a big ctack going down the wall behind the stove which is now a huge hole from RATS pushing through to get in and out.  There are no ducts under the home.  When you look in the floor vents all you see is the ground under the trailer. There are now 5 or 6 RATS that come out every now and then and it's disgusting.  The ceiling over my shower completely fell in and my bedroom ceiling is cracked and is about to fall in. We have black mold and recently started seeing roaches.  They aren't bad yet but I know how fast they accumulate.  I don't allow anyone at my home because it's embarrassing and my kids can't have friends over.  I feel horrible, like I'm taking all the fun out of their childhood.  But this is so humiliating.  I've never in my life lived like this. The Lansford has done nothing to help with anything and with the rising cost in rent i can't afford to move paying rent and deposit.  I just need help getting back on my feet so we can all go back to living a normal, happy and healthy life again.  I want to see the glow on my children's faces again. We can't continue living in these conditions.  Im. In this situation because I don't like asking for help.  But now I feel like I have no other option.  Without help, I'm afraid we'll be here forever.
