Single Mom Needs Help

My name is Aimee. I am a single mom of 2 girls, a 4 year old with autism and an 8 month old. We recently left my home that I shared with my ex husband. He had started becoming more abusive and I couldn't deal with it anymore.

This last year has been hell for us. I had a very high risk, scary pregnancy. We almost lost myself and the baby, and had to have an emergency c sections. I wasn't home 24 hours yet when I had to go back to the hospital via ambulance because I went into heart failure. I spent a week in the hospital for that. I came home, post partum and with heart failure to care for my two children and my wonderful bonus child. Around this time is when the abuse started. Slowly, but I thought it was just my post partum depression. It got worse.

Because of this, and a few other factors, I ended up spending my birthday in a psychiatric facility. When I got home, it was worse. I lost my part time job and the threats started. So I left. I am currently homeless and waiting for an apartment to open up in an income based housing unit.

But I still have bills. He's been threatening to shut off my phone that I desperately need for my children. My 4 year old is in ABA therapy 5 days a week. I have doctors appointments for me and the 8 month old. And I am the only parent who answers calls from the schools for my 8 year old bonus child.

I hate to ask, but we need some financial help. I currently have a storage unit, and a car payment to make. I need this vehicle to get my kids where they need to go, doctors and therapy.

Any help is appreciated. I truly hate asking but I am a desperate mother who can't lose her only means of transportation.
