Hi everyone, my name is Raven Angel. I’m a single mother and a college senior preparing to graduate this December. This year has been both a blessing and a challenge.

In early August, I was awarded financial aid to help me finish my final semester, but just a week later, it was taken away after being told I had reached my limit. Around the same time, I trusted my son’s father to cover our rent for two months, but the payments were reversed, leaving me with a 30-day notice to vacate. Right now, my son and I are staying with his sister and her two children, sleeping on the floor while I work to rebuild our stability. I recently secured a job with Aspire Health Partners in Orlando, a mental health facility where I’ll begin working in January 2026. I’m asking for $5,000 to help us move into a new home so that my son and I can have a safe, peaceful space again. Once I start my job, I’ll be able to fully support us and maintain financial independence.
