Hey everyone my name is Jessica and I am a single mother to a special needs child. We just fled Domestic Violence and we were living in a hotel. Finally we have a place to call home I couldn't bare homelessness with my son.

Now that we have an apartment, we are in desperate need of food and furniture. I spent my last penny getting this apartment to provide a stable environment for my son. But we don't have anything to eat. My son just ate his last can of chef boyardee. Please help, I have no finances to provide food for him, let alone child care. I don't have a car so I am unable to go out and see where I can find food. Any amount would help and would greatly be appreciated.

I've realized I can't do this on my own. I have no family support or any kind of support. It saddens me the thought of my son not having food to eat and him constantly telling me he's hungry. I don't know what else to do, and I refuse to give up.

Please help us during these hard times. We are in desperate need
