SingleMomHealingAssault
Our good friend Tia is facing one of the hardest moments of her life. Recently, she was the victim of a physical assault in Anoka, MN during a Halloween party. The incident is part of an active police investigation, and legal action is being taken. We will not be sharing further details publicly at this time to respect the process and her privacy.
What we can share is that Tia sustained significant injuries, including broken and fractured bones and a concussion. She is now navigating ongoing medical care, follow-up appointments, and a lengthy recovery process. This has made it impossible for her to work for the foreseeable future, and as a single mom, that loss of income is overwhelming. This could not have come at a more challenging time. With the holidays approaching, her only focus is maintaining a safe and stable home for her and her little girl while she heals physically and begins therapy to support her emotional recovery.
We are setting a goal of $10,000 to help cover:
• Rent and basic utilities though the end of the year
• Medical co-pays and treatment expenses
• Therapy while she navigates life after this assault
• Basic essential living needs during her recovery and a few Christmas gifts for her daughter this year
Even reaching half of this goal would give her a stable foundation during this unexpected and traumatic season. Any support means more than you know. If you are able to contribute, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you are not in a position to give financially, a share, a prayer, or a kind word truly helps. Even one dollar makes a difference.
If you would like to send encouragement, notes and cards… Those go a long way in reminding someone they are not alone. To protect her privacy, they can be mailed to me and I will deliver them to her:

Tia is incredibly hardworking. She typically works full-time as an accountant and works multiple side jobs in her evenings to provide for her and her little girl. She deserves a season of rest, and while this is not how anyone would have asked for it, she is staying positive and focused on healing.
Thank you for standing with her during this time. If you prefer to contribute outside this platform (cash, check, Venmo, etc.), please reach out and we will provide the appropriate information.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing love and support to one of our dear friends!
With so much love,
Caitlyn, MacKenzie, Taya and Toni
