SOCK 2022
Hi, my name is Tracy Hill. I am a mom of two children, my daughter Chantell and my son Chayde. I met their dad Jesse in 1985 when I was 16 years old. We married in 1989 and have been together ever since. When I was 44, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We somehow ended up at Jordan Hospital (Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth) Where I received treatment. We love everyone there, doctors, nurses, and patients, they all made a terrible situation a little better. My treatment involved all the major Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I actually had Chemo on Christmas Eve. When I was finished with treatment I knew I wanted to do something to give back, I decided to bring in Christmas stockings filled with goodies for anyone getting Chemo on Christmas Eve. Let's face it the Holidays are hard enough, and nobody wants to be in the hospital getting chemo. This Christmas will be my 9th year making the stockings. I could not do this without the help of family and friends. We try to fill 30 stockings with things that they can use while getting Chemo. Things like Books, Crosswords, gum, mints, sanitizer, tissues, candy, chapstick, and socks. Each stocking contains a 10.00 gift card to Dunkin (located in the hospital). Making all the stocking requires 30 of each item. That's where our friends and you can help. All money donated goes directly to filling the stockings. Please If you can help in any way, even something small helps! You can also visit my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Stockings-of-Cheer-Kindness-SOCK-684389818395621/
