Hello, wonderful friends, family, and kind members of this community!

I'm reaching out today with a heartfelt request. My son, Eljah, is a senior in high school this year. Like many teens, he's looking forward to one of the biggest nights of his high school career: his senior prom.

However, due to recent financial hardships and a very tight family budget, we cannot afford the costs associated with this special event.

About Elijah & the Prom

Elijah has been homeschooled his entire life. This specific event, the Texas Christian Homeschool Prom (https://txchp.com/), is a unique opportunity for him to celebrate his senior year with all of his closest friends who are also attending. It’s more than just a dance; it’s a milestone and a chance to make lasting memories as he prepares for the next chapter of his life.

He's a great kid who works hard in his studies and works hard to help his dad and me. He truly deserves this chance to experience this high school tradition.

Where Will Your Donation Go?

We are hoping to raise $700 to cover the essential expenses for Elijah and his date to attend the prom. Every dollar raised will go directly toward the following:

• Prom Tickets: Tickets for him and his companion.
• Attire: A rented tux/suit for Eli and perhaps funds toward his companion's dress.
• Logistics: The cost of a hotel room nearby so they can safely stay overnight and enjoy the full experience.
• Small Extras: Covering simple things like dinner, transportation, gas, haircuts, or photos.
