Matt touched so many peoples lives it don't even make sense why someone so full of love and life could end like it did. Matt was sick and suffering from schizophrenia. Or what we believed to be that. I was at the lowest point in my life after dad died I quit my job couldn't pay my bills and somehow I let him t a lk me into going out into the community and just spreading the love. We worked and we worked hard for free. Going around cleaning up and helping out in any way we could. Just to let someone know they were loved that day. Because we he felt like not a lot of people truly knew what love was because they had never been shown it. He sparked a vision in me about a movement of people no matter what race or background. That stood together in this time of chaos in the world. And just helped someone out because no matter were u are in life there are people worse off and be grateful God gave us life as nd just show someone love because u can and do actually care about people. . I didn't fully understand him until now. Everyday I would go to work with him and he would pay me outta of his pocket. I watched him mow the yard of the ci in his case and take a load of his trash to the dump. He appreciated where his mind was. And new he wouldn't have had the awakening if it wasn't for him. So he wanted to show him love for it. He touched alot of peoples lives and right now we are trying to make hard decisions based on the fact that his body is in new York and they are talking about of money to get him flown back here. I am his brother and I am freaking out. Its all so unreal. All i can think about are his kids. I've had a lot of offers today about helping out so I'm asking anyone who matt pohlman ever touched. If he made an impact in ur life and u can help. And I don't just mean with money. Him and Ashley had 9 kids . If u see them out there spread the same love he spread into ur life into them. They need it. And if u loved matt remember even after all this is over and he is place in the ground to spread the love. Thank you for being apart of his life.
