From My House to the Mailbox: Stamp Fund for GOTV Postcards

Hi everyone! I’m volunteering with Progressive Turnout Project’s Postcards to Swing States and The Informed Voters of America initiative to help educate and turn out voters for the upcoming election. Writing these cards takes many hours, but I am fully committed to reaching as many voters as possible.

Why This Project Means So Much to Me

As a partially disabled activist and toddler mom, canvassing door-to-door or attending rallies isn't physically accessible for me. Writing GOTV and news information postcards for this initiative is my primary way to advocate, organize, and make my voice heard in key swing states. I put my full time and energy into handwriting messages and addresses. By sponsoring a roll of postcard stamps, you're directly helping me get this work off my desk and into the hands of voters!

Where the project stands right now:

• ⚠️ The Postage Setback: I tried purchasing postage out of pocket, but unfortunately received counterfeit stamps. Although I was able to get 2 refunds to reinvest, I had to invest twice as much as budgeted. Unfortunately, I can't afford to pay for the rest of the stamps. I had already stamped 500 cards, which I now have to re-stamp with legitimate postage.
• 📬 537 Cards Getting Re-Stamped & Ready: I was able to buy legitimate stamps at a reduced price to help cover 437 cards. Thanks to a generous donor's 100 stamps, I now have 537/1000 cards that will definitely get mailed!
• ✍️ More Cards Written Every Day: I am continuing to write cards so no time is wasted, but I need help covering the $0.65 postcard postage to mail the rest of the unstamped cards.
