Hello, my name is Karla. We have started this fundraiser for Paula Barto Davis to support her battle with cervical cancer. She was diagnosed in July of 2018 and it is more complex than they originally thought. She has since had a biopsy and it came back with several different types of cancer on both the inside and outside of her cervix. She will need a radical hysterectomy and a portion of her inner abdominal wall removed and will need chemo and meds afterwards. However, because of the test results from the biopsy she needs a cat scan from the neck down to check a lump in her neck to make sure it hasn't spread further. They have a tentative surgery date set for December 10th at UVM Medical center in Burlington, VT. During this process, both her and her significant other, Mike, will be out of work. Donations will go to medical expenses, travel expenses, and food for her, Mike, her two young children, Kierra and Jackson, and her oldest son, Daniel. Paula is always the first to volunteer when others are in need and never asks for anything in return, so now it is our turn to help her. Please help her and her family and help relieve a little bit of their stress as the holidays are coming fast.
