Stand with Ukraine
There is ongoing need for financial support in Ukraine right now! After living in Ukraine for two years as missionary from 2001-2003, Ukraine is very close to my heart and we are devastated by this conflict. We have friends there with whom we are in direct contact who are helping those being displaced. Getting money directly to them will be very helpful. 100% of any money collected with this fundraiser will go directly to these individuals. They are in western Ukraine, which so far as seen minimal conflict and where stores are open and goods can still be purchased.
Natasha is in Chernivtsi: “We buy food for the elderly, which we will give away at the end of the week. We also bought food for people in the south of Ukraine, [and] for the bomb shelter in Chernivtsi. We also plan to buy for the volunteer center which will be transferred to Kyiv and other cities.”

Roman is from Kyiv. He took his kids to Poland and is now transporting individuals from the areas of conflict to the western city of Ivano-Frankivsk, where they are helping house refugees and help them continue on toward the border. He says, “I buy food, clothes, car fuel and consumables. I will also pay for housing for migrants!” He's traveling 500-600 km (310-370 mi) a day. Gas is over $4.50/gal and bound to rise!

Yuri is in the western city of L'viv. Because of its proximity to the Polish border it has become a hot spot for refugees trying to leave Ukraine into other European countries. He is helping by keeping people updated on the latest train and bus routes and connecting people with contacts to get across the border.

As we learn of others in need, we hope to be able to help them as well.
