Dear Friends and Legion family,

If you’ve spent any time at our American Legion post, you know the heart and dedication that Steve and Julia have poured into our community for years.

Julia served with incredible passion as our Auxiliary President for 9 years, dedicating countless hours to the Auxiliary, District 15, and our Veterans. Steve, a proud member of both the Legion and the SAL (and a past SAL Commander), has been right alongside her, showing up for Veterans whenever they needed him.

Now, Steve needs us.

Julia is nearing the end of her journey, and we want to rally around Steve to ease the heavy burdens resting on his shoulders. We are raising funds to help cover Julia’s final medical care, bring their son, Michael, home so he can be with his family during this difficult time, and assist with upcoming cremation expenses.

No one should have to walk through a loss like this alone—especially not two people who have spent their lives standing up for others.
