**Help Launch Hands of Compassion**

Hello, my name is Annjeanette, and I am starting a nonprofit organization with a mission that comes straight from the heart: to help families in our community with funeral expenses during their most difficult times.

Losing a loved one is already painful enough, and the financial burden of funeral costs can make it even harder for families to grieve and heal. **Hands of Compassion** will raise money through community car wash fundraisers, where volunteers will come together to serve others. All proceeds from these car washes will go directly to families in need, giving them relief and support when they need it most.

This mission is deeply personal to me. For much of my life, I have organized and helped with fundraisers to support friends and family struggling with burial expenses. I also know firsthand how it feels to be in that situation—needing help with funeral costs and having nowhere to turn. That experience has stayed with me, and it is the driving force behind my decision to finally create this nonprofit. Alongside two of my closest friends, I am determined to establish this organization as a permanent resource for our community.

To make this vision possible, I need help covering the startup costs of officially registering **Hands of Compassion**. Here’s what the funds will go toward:

* **IRS 501(c)(3) Application Fee:** \$600–\$800

* **Business License & Local Permits:** \$150

* **Basic Startup Supplies (soap, towels, buckets, signs, 3 canopy's, 7 chairs, 2 ice chests, table for first fundraiser):** \$1500
